LAME EXCUSES
Quite a number of people who are interested in fish farming and who know they will need this business in future still offer lame excuses why they can’t immediately buy the Manual e.g.
EXCUSE: “I’m interested but too busy to go to the bank and pay for the Manual myself”
SOLUTION: Simply send someone who will be glad to do you that for you; a neighbor, a subordinate, a security man, just someone you once did a favor and who will be glad to return that favour .
EXCUSE: I’m interested but don’t have enough money to start.
SOLUTION: You’re probably not aware that Micro Finance banks gives out facilities that does not require collateral securities to back it up. Just a high net-worth person to guarantee you; Some MFBs don’t even require the person to be of high net-worth. So make the first move, buy the Manual, visit our farm, open an account in a micro finance bank and pray for help.
EXCUSE: I’m interested but I know someone who burnt his fingers in catfish farming and that scares me.
SOLUTION: Have you not also heard that people make money from fish farming?. Which business do people not burn their fingers in?. Even pepper sellers burn their fingers selling pepper. So don’t be scared, buy the Manual, talk to us or other successful farmers………….but make the move, a lot of farmers are doing it successfully.
EXCUSE: I’m interested but have little or no space to do it
SOLUTION: The first thing is to buy the manual once you’re interested in fish farming; it is in the Manual you’ll see the minimum space required and how you can cut this out in your environment. There are tenants who use 1 room in their flat for fish farming; there are those who live in 1 room apartments who use just the space round their building for it. All you need to start off is a 3ft width by 6ft or 12ft length space – and if you look well enough, you’ll see it around you.
EXCUSE: I’m interested but don’t have anyone to manage the business for me.
SOLUTION: Buy the Manual, educate yourself about the business and you’ll find out that you can start small and manage the business yourself if you’re raising the fishes to table –size. THE HOW is in the Manual.
